So, what is the cause?  The cause is the good news about Jesus!  In the book of Luke Jesus said, "And people will come from east and west, and from north and south, and recline at table in the kingdom of God."  We are praying that "Coffee With A Cause" will be the kind of ministry that introduces people from all over the world to the kingdom of God.  You might ask, "How is a coffee shop going to introduce people all over the world to the kingdom of God?"

Locally, "Coffee With A Cause" will serve as a hub for the ministry of Lakeside Community Church.  The building will be used for church services, small groups and student ministries.  We also believe that the coffee shop will provide a place to meet people in our community, invite them to the services and share our cause with them.  Globally, "Coffee With A Cause" will help us to raise awareness and funding for our church planting projects around the world.  In the past five years, by God's grace, we have assisted with the planting of new churches in the U.S., Iceland, and Indonesia.

"Coffee With A Cause" will serve fine coffee from the countries where we are actively ministering and will dedicate 10% of the proceeds to the spreading of the gospel in those countries.
